Respected Mother,
I have been worried for the past few days about not receiving any letter from home. Today I received a letter from my elder brother informing him of your illness. I am very sorry to know that you have been laid up with a fever, cough, and cold. Dear Mother, I am eager to see you and serve you, but due to my examination, I am unable to see you. As soon as my examination is over, I will call you.
Please consult the family doctor, take medicine regularly, and all other preventive measures. I hope you will recover soon from your illness. Pay my respects to elders and love to youngsters.
